Thank you D.C. for that overwhelming vote of confidence as you gave us a brand new President.  D.C. did it for Barack and you did it for Eleanor too, thank you for your vote!

Barack did it for the country and now he is going to do it for D.C., we have the necessary 60 votes to pass the D.C. voting rights Act. Watch this space for the quick vote I will seek in the house so that we can quickly get it to the Senate.  209 years without a vote is a disgrace, we don’t want to wait a minute longer, I am impatient, I ask you to be impatient too and help us to get early passage.
